Spend Your New Year’s Eve at Glittering Lights with Fireworks and Family Fun

Festive lights and fireworks? Check! Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway invites Las Vegas locals to experience a magical firework show on Dec. 31 at 9:00 p.m. PT to ring in the new year celebrations. Keep holiday spirits flying high with a safe drive through millions of lights following the firework show, the perfect early NYE event for families. Guests are invited to line up at 8:30 p.m. for fireworks that will be viewable across the speedway from the comfort of their cars. 

New Year’s Eve Event Timeline (Pacific Time)

4:30 p.m. – Glittering Lights opens for the evening  
8:30 p.m. (Approximately) – Entry into the lights will pause. Guests should arrive to line up for the firework show. Best viewing is right at attraction entry.
9:00 p.m. – Fireworks for the midnight Eastern Time countdown (Perfect timing for guests with kids!) Entry into the Glittering Lights attraction resumes following the firework show. 
10:00 p.m. – Glittering Lights closes (or when last car goes through)

It’s Not Too Late to See the Lights 

Glittering Lights is open through Jan.10, 2021. Wait times on most evenings are now under 30 minutes during peak traffic hours of 6:45 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Guests are invited to load up the car with family and friends for a safe drive through the lights from the comfort and safety of their car. Discounted carload tickets are available at all area La Bonita Supermarkets locations for $10 off an Any Day ticket.
