This summer USA Today posted their 10 best annual events held in Las Vegas and Glittering Lights made the list at #9!
Las Vegas is known as the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason: there’s always something going on for people to enjoy. However, while most people associate the city with its many resident performers and shows, Las Vegas also hosts a variety of can’t-miss events throughout the year to keep people entertained.
In fact, several events throughout the year truly transform the look and feel of the city, like the Wranger National Finals Rodeo. Thousands of rodeo fans decked out in Wrangler jeans, Justin Boots and cowboy hats come to Las Vegas every December for the annual event, giving the city a real country feel. Then, six months later in June, the city transforms into a sea of neon and fairy wings for the Electric Daisy Carnival, North America’s largest electronic dance music festival.
The city is also home to several festive holiday events, including Fright Dome, one of the nation’s premier Halloween haunts. Then come Christmastime, Las Vegas becomes one of the merriest places on Earth thanks to all the twinkling lights people will find at the Ethel M Holiday Cactus Garden and Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Las Vegas even hosts several charitable events throughout the year that always draw a crowd.
So whether you want to support a good cause or you just want to have some fun with your friends and family, our list of Las Vegas’ 10 best annual events is sure to have something you’ll want to add to your calendar.
