A new season of Glittering Lights is almost here, and we’ve been busy making things even brighter and even more festive for our 2026 season.
Glittering Lights returns to Las Vegas Motor Speedway November 6, 2026 through January 3, 2027 with three miles and more than 6 million lights. This year brings brand-new displays, expanded favorites, special events, and a big celebration for America’s 250th birthday.
If Glittering Lights is already part of your family Christmas tradition, there will be plenty of new things to look for along the route. And if this is your first visit, you picked a pretty exciting year to start.
Here’s what’s new at Glittering Lights Las Vegas for the 2026 holiday season.
A Red, White and Bright Celebration of America’s 250th Birthday
America turns 250 in 2026, and we couldn’t let a birthday that big go by without adding a few million lights to the celebration.
One of the biggest additions to Glittering Lights this season is our new Tribute to America, a dedicated area celebrating the spirit, history and unity of the country through patriotic light displays.
Expect plenty of red, white and bright as you make your way through this new section of the drive.
The patriotic theme is a special addition for 2026 and gives families another completely new area to experience during their annual trip through Glittering Lights.
Drive Through the New Avenue of Flags
Inside the Tribute to America, guests will discover another brand-new addition for 2026: The Avenue of Flags.
The display will feature the flag of every state in the USA, creating a tribute to all 50 states and the people who call them home.
Keep an eye out for your home state as you drive through. For Las Vegas locals who came here from somewhere else, you might even find yourself looking for two.
The Avenue of Flags is part of our larger America 250 celebration and one of the new displays we’re most excited for families to experience this season.
More Movie Magic Is Coming
Our Tribute to the Movies is getting even bigger for 2026.
The expanded area will bring new movie-inspired scenes to the route alongside some of the displays guests already love.

You’ll have to come see for yourself.
We’re keeping the new additions a surprise for now, so keep your eyes open as you make your way through the movie section. You never know which familiar characters or scenes might be waiting around the corner.
The Fairy Willows Are Getting Even More Magical
One of the prettiest areas of Glittering Lights is getting a little extra attention this year.
We’re adding to the Fairy Willows for 2026, bringing even more lights and details to the whimsical area.
The glowing willows already create a completely different feeling from other parts of the drive, and this year’s additions will make the area even more magical.
It might also be a good place to make a Christmas wish. We can’t guarantee the lights have actual wish-granting powers, but it is Christmas.
More Love for the Tunnel of Love
The Tunnel of Love presented by Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas, is getting some love of its own this season.
We’re enhancing the area for 2026 with even more lights and details to make one of our favorite parts of the route prettier, brighter and even more memorable.
The Tunnel of Love has always been a favorite for date nights, couples and families driving through together, so we wanted to give guests a little more to see this year.

Under the Big Top Display
This season, we are not just clowning around about introducing a new Under the Big Top Display area! This new festive area of fun, presented by Circus Circus Las Vegas, will have all the things you love about the circus all under a brand new big top, with a holiday twist, of course!
Win a Private Ride on the Candy Cane Cruiser
There’s another new experience coming this year, but you’re going to have to win your way onto this one.
The Candy Cane Cruiser, presented by Loyalty Plumbing & Air, is hitting Glittering Lights for the 2026 season, and Las Vegas locals will have opportunities to win a private ride.
Each winner can bring up to 20 people aboard the Candy Cane Cruiser for a private trip through Glittering Lights. The experience also includes a hot cocoa bar and kettle corn.
We’ll host three separate contest rounds on the official Glittering Lights Facebook page throughout the season. Entrants will need to follow our Facebook page and comment on the designated contest post for a chance to win. No purchase is necessary.
So start thinking about the friends and family members who would make your Candy Cane Cruiser guest list. Twenty spots can fill up surprisingly fast.
Special Event Nights Are Back
There’s always something happening at Glittering Lights, and 2026 will bring back a full calendar of special nights and events.
Glittering Lights is proud to recognize some of the people who make our Las Vegas community a better place, with select appreciation nights for veterans and military members, teachers and first responders.
We’ll also have special events throughout the season including Pet Nights, a Bike Night, fireworks and more.

A regular trip through the lights is fun. Planning your visit around one of our special event nights can give you a completely different reason to come back again.
Six Million Lights and Three Miles of Christmas
Some things don’t need changing.
Glittering Lights will once again fill Las Vegas Motor Speedway with more than 6 million lights along a three-mile drive-through experience.
Turn on Ho Ho Radio, presented by Loyalty Plumbing & Air and pile everyone into the car to experience one of Las Vegas’ favorite Christmas traditions without ever having to leave your vehicle.
Glittering Lights is designed to be easy for families. Bring the kids in pajamas, invite the grandparents, deck out the pets, grab some Christmas treats, and enjoy the drive together.
The show opens nightly at 5 p.m., rain or shine, and stays open throughout the holidays.
